Caprivi Delta: Book four in the Kuiper Series

Right on the edge of Lalande space lies the planet of Caprivi Delta where a farmer by the name of Rawiri lives. While out in the bush stalking some predatory ape-like creatures, she is surprised by the sudden arrival of a stranger who quite literally appears out of nowhere and has no idea how he got to there. The situation forces the farmer to abandon the retrieval of her livestock and rescue the spaceman called Bob from certain death.

After having acclimatised to living on a planet, Bob does not only find work on Rawiri's farm but also a loving companion. Unbeknownst to the Kuipertonian, however, there is a force loose in the universe that threatens all human life, a force that he unleashed years back when he led the miserable, and often criminal, life of a Master Technician on Kuiper Mining Station. With a wife, a son and a life of contentment to lose, Bob decides that now is the time to confront the ghosts of his past and finally make up for the terrible mistakes he made on the space station.
