Assassins of Zenobia tells the tale of women throughout time who have been chosen for the sacred duty of Assassin by the spirit of Zenobia, a long-dead War Queen. Instructed by Zenobia to take his life, she finds that he saves her own when her brother's in arms betray her and leave her for dead.
Resigned to a life of peace and stillness, she falls in love with her target, complicating her future and her duty. Despite this, she knows she must fulfill her oath to both King and Queen, even if they go against each other in every way imaginable.
