Duck & Cover: Sequel to Just Keep Running

Keira Hilton, ex-detective and undercover AFP agent, who upset a planned sting operation when she stole an extremely large sum of money from the organisation she had been forcibly assigned to infiltrate, going underground from all who pursued her thereafter until her escape from Australia, has returned to her homeland from her Philippine-sanctuary to exact her revenge against Cathy (Duck) Mallard, and others responsible for the organisation and undertaking of the murders which had served to rip her already torn heart, mind, and soul apart further still. A veritable train-wreck, and weighed by the heavy work before her, she is further traumatized as she learns more about the murders she seeks vengeance for. In between the horror movies that constantly assault her crowded mind, small realisations fit new pieces into a puzzle, shedding more light upon the bigger picture, revealing far more about the tangled web of the mess she sought to wipe clean. An unexpected light of warmth and love, in a most foreign form to her, bowls her over from left-field, causing within her an entirely new form of conflict, which adds fuel to the tumultuous fires which burn in her slowly emptying heart.
