Letters I've Left to Collect Dust

I used to hate talking. I used to be so quiet and lost so many words into this mind that I thought were too late to say because the people and situations they were for had moved on without me. But sometimes, the words you want to give someone aren't for them, they're for you. There were words I had buried so deeply inside me I didn't realize they were hurting. Some of deep gratitude, some of great admiration, some of regret, and some full of pain. These are the words addressed to the people who have touched my 18-year-old life. They tell a story of how I have been shaped and taught and loved by these very people. A small glimpse into who I am, and maybe you will find that these letters remind you of some people in your very own life who have done the same for you. Perhaps, you will have some words to say to them after exploring my silent words I have written, collecting dust in my attic.
