Bone Accordion: Tales from South Asia

Bone Accordion: Tales from South Asia
"I'm in a battle of will and wits with myself, but I'm not sure who is getting the upper hand" - Shane Bordoli (Bone Accordion)
Bone Accordion - Tales From South Asia documents Shane's recent travels in Nepal and India. He wrote this anthology in the foothills of the Himalayas, and it's full of stories and poems about what it's like to travel and live in India and Nepal. There are also plenty of flights of fancy along the way in this collection of unconventional travel writing.
On the journey, we'll pass through a traditional village on our way to the holy city of Rishikesh. From the banks of the Ganges, we head north to the forested hills of Dharamshala, where the Dali Lama lives. These, in turn, give way to the stark and austere landscapes of remote Ladakh. We also take in the sights in Nepal as Shane spends time in the astounding settings of old Kathmandu and the lakeside town of Pokhara.
Are you ready for the journey?
Shane is an English writer from Leicester and has spent several years living in Asia in recent times. This book is his third collection of stories and poems. He is well travelled, got his degree in Hull and spent many years working in libraries, which are his natural habitat.
