Short Stories mostly take a backseat when it comes to readers. Even authors don't seem to have a high regard for them. They are sort of hidden, like little gems of creativity, that many authors are almost ashamed of.

But why? Not every plotline can be stretched into a full-length novel. Short stories are an art form of their own. They need our respect, be brought forth and polished up like little diamonds.
