Azania: Journey of hopes and disappointments

Bantu Africa in a journey of hopes and disappointments as he searches for his long-lost daughter that disappeared during apartheid, right after South Africa gained it democracy. Bantu's is welcomed by the Vantonders family at the very young age after his family's house is burnt down by the angry mob suspecting his father of whistle blowing for the apartheid government. In the Vantonder's, Bantu meets Zandile who becomes his wife, Zandile dies right after giving birth to the child (AZania). Bantu promises to protect the child. when Azania turn 14 and Bantu spends time away as a delivery boy. One day Bantu comes back to the news from the Vantonders that his daughter disappeared. later Bantu finds a letter by his daughter explaining her reason to leave. The story touches historical events of South Africa, expressing matters of missing people during apartheid and those who are promised to be found.
