Welcome to Reality

Life's lowest points can sometimes create expressions of beauty and thoughtful reflection in the form of poetry. This emotional collection of poems by Aya Vi Yelle was written over the course of six years, at different low points in her life as she struggled with depression and thoughts of suicide. At one point, she was ready to give up, but then a shining light entered her life and suddenly it all became much more bearable.

Aya's poems may make you feel uncomfortable, but they speak to issues that desperately need to be addressed in today's society. Please do not turn a blind eye or disregard a person who says they suffer from depression. You never know when that person's last moment will be, or if you will somehow be the trigger that pushes them to their limit.
