Destroyer - Paperback

Magic only destroys, and people who can wield magic are called Destroyers. When a Destroyer uses magic everything in a perfect sphere around them simply disappears. Everyone knows it can't be controlled and those with magic must be killed for the safety of everyone else. By law all Destroyers are to be executed whenever one is found.

Avus for some strange reason can control his magic, causing only what he wants to disappear. But the soldiers after him don't care. They want to hunt him down and execute him.
