Goldie the Box Turtle at Night

"Goldie the Box Turtle at Night" is about a box turtle and her life among other backyard wildlife that come out at night. It is the third in the Goldie series after "Goldie the Friendly Box Turtle" and "Goldie the Box Turtle Makes Friends." The books are based on the author's backyard wildlife observations.

The book describes nighttime wildlife in a typical wooded property in the southern United States. Young readers learn about box turtles and other animals, and gain an appreciation of nature.

Children's interests and reading levels vary. The author envisioned this book being read to a younger child and readable by an older one. Preschool through 2nd grade is the approximate reading level.
