The book was written by racing historian Dennis Darovich and former racer Bob Diener. Darovich has been an avid fan of 141 Speedway since 1973. Other avid fans of the track contributed to this unique auto racing book. Racing historian Bill Mueller wrote the foreword to "60 Years of 141 Speedway," while Diener, a past driver in the track's Sportsman division, provided many of the photographs in the book.
