Synopsis ELIJAH TAYLOR - A true story from a man who has been through ups and downs. He starts life as a neglected and abused kid, and is taken away from his mother and was mentally and physically beaten to his breaking point. Elijah starts running away from foster homes and shelters, searching for his lost sisters and a place he could call home.
Instead of finding a home, he found the streets. But, unfortunately, he also becomes known around his community as a drug dealer and gang member. He's a man who has seen the face of death several times.
This story is not just one of a man's downfalls and street struggles, but it depicts a picture of how God made a way out of no way and gave Elijah a new purpose.
Elijah's testimony and valid account of his experiences are uplifting & hopeful. The reader will find Elijah's story motivating, as he reveals both the vulnerable moments and triumphant leaps he has taken in life. From living in the streets, going to jail, and saving men for God's Kingdom, Elijah explains the core principles that will help the reader understand the necessary steps to overcome any struggle. He will also reveal how change can bring some fulfillment into a person's life.
As Elijah lets the reader into his life, his story can motivate individuals who grew up not knowing how to navigate life; yet still overcame all the odds against them. This story is both freeing and inspiring and proves those wrong that have said, "You wouldn't be nothing, but 4'10 in life-to grow 7 feet tall!"
This story should not be passed over.
Young, black and broke, is something we wake up to every day, no matter if it's in our household, or looking out the door at the neighborhood. Still everyday there is no change.
If you are reading this you get a chance to enter my eyes and see the life that I see as a young Black man living in White Amerikkka, where our chances is chosen by the sound of our stomach and force to be a product of our environment because of the ones we see around us; which is black.
So my brothers and sisters, listen to my story which is uncut, nonfiction and taken from real life. This is why 60% of Black people in Amerikkka never have a chance since the beginning of birth, because of how we was raised. But at the end of this book, all you'll see is another BLACK ROSE.
