One Fateful Night is the first of a series about a special operation unit brought about from three different criminal units from police and military intelligence their objective is to track down and bring to justice criminals and terrorist who have seemed to be untouchable and using the latest technology and undercover techniques,
The story begins with an ordinary middle aged married couple John and Sue two daughters Emma and Charlie they are having a Saturday night alone as their two girls are away, their night of passion takes a turn when and an incident involving a burglar who John accidentally kills the actions they take to cover it up changes their life, also the husband is being unfaithful with his late brothers ex-girlfriend called Abi who has a daughter Jen, what transpires during the novel is that they are being watched by more than one group but who and why . one is a police surveillance team from the National Crime Agency officers Gill, Adrian, Rob and Phil and military intelligence agents Paul, Marcus Tony and Alexis. The other is a terrorist group linked back to John's late brother Dan and to Abi, there are twist and turns to the plot with agents from another agency infiltrating the opposite agency and foreign terrorist activist involving Johns company uncovering of a terrorist plot using vehicle technology produced by Johns company. The book follows the team tracking and bringing down the terrorists with some unexpected out comes; This novel is James Patterson meets E L James !!
