All That I Own: Finding Faith, Family, And Love In The Old West
When Chris' mistress dies, Chris is left in dire straights. She's the only one left to take care of the mistress's young girls, and her contract is transferred to Jack Slade, a rotten man who wants to sell her out as a whore. Chris comes from no family and doesn't have a penny to her name. Dylon Clay takes pity and rescues Chris and the girls from Slade's hands, but it costs him everything in the process.
Chris is not the most beautiful woman, being a chunky plain girl.
Dylan is not the most handsome man, either. Dylan's face was left scarred from the fire that killed his brother. He moved out West and allowed his heart to become more scarred than his face.
Both are as different as night and day, but will they find love and the meaning of family together? Will they marry only for the sake of the orphan girls, or because of love too? Or will Dylon send Chris packing fast?
Chris and Dylon find and reunite with friends all along the way. One such friend is Ned. Ned, the circuit preacher, loses everything dear to him and tries fighting his demons through alcohol.
Sam Drew, a handsome loner, gets involved in helping find families for the children on the orphan train.
