Los Angeles. 1987
L.A.'s metal bands are scorching clubs along the Sunset Strip, but the hottest scene in Tinsel Town is The Groupie Dance, a movie being filmed about New York City's heavy metal bands and groupies.
In town for filming are Marty, singer for heavy metal icons, Black Gallows, his girlfriend, Kris, the author who wrote the novel on which the film is based, and his two best friends, Christian and Jeremy, powerhouses in the film and music video industry.
Everyone wants a piece of the movie, including Beau, an actor looking to leap from beach scenes to the big screen, if he can manage to keep his mind on his lines and his libido in check, Janis, a rocker searching for her own big break, and Joy, a former groupie running from tragedy in the Big Apple.
Wolves in sheep's clothing are also prowling the City of Angels, looking for sinners to punish. And they know just where to start - the steamy Sunset Strip, and The Groupie Dance's cast and crew, placing lives, and love, on the line.
