The Morning After Sundown

Franco strangles Ngeza after raping her and goes into hiding. Ngeza had a bountiful beauty; she was purposeful and brimful in the chest. She completed the University of Cape Coast. She was the daughter of Honourable Constantine Lungwegwe, the Western Regional Minister.

Many a woman has crossed Franco's lusty path. Still, Makisela, a daughter of Nkatlango, a business tycoon, causes Franco endless heart pangs because of her naturally nurtured beauty and her love.

Nkatlango owns the BMX Mining Company Ltd., in Damang, a prefecture in Prestea, a bouyant mining community. He hires Franco's services as a rig man. Makisela visits the workers' canteen, sits by Franco, and a tryst chat ensues between them. The love bout they enter into could only be seen in the cinemas.

Before cockshut, Franco is arrested by Detective Lisa and is arraigned before Judge Wambiaka. "Do you want to go pro se?" the judge asks. Franco doesn't understand the legal jargon; he couldn't hire any lawyer on pro deo and none came for him on pro bono. Nevertheless, he's to defend himself.

Some days passed; Franco is imprisoned at the Sekondi Prison as Detective Lisa continues her undercover investigations about the true cause of Ngeza's death. She unearths a clandestine secret; Ngeza was killed by Nkatlango.

Nkatlango, with the help of Detective Lisa's CID colleagues, hire hitmen to kill Lisa. This way, she couldn't make public her evidence. After the hitmen have roughened Detective Lisa, they take her dead, and throw her into the River Huni.
Zamba-Zamba, a witchdoctor, who'd trained Franco in herbs, chances on Detective Lisa afloat in the River Huni. He rescues moribund Detective Lisa.

Zamba-Zamba is a man no woman dares to look at because of his damnable ugliness. Nevertheless, his persuasive voice, and herbal prowess did the magic. He wins countless women's hearts and beds as many as he wants.

Detective Lisa helps free Franco from prison, but the two had to run for the rest of their lives. The law, as well as the big money spenders were at their heels.

Honourable Constatine Lungwegwe learns of Nkatlango's hand in the death of his beloved daughter.

What happens between Lungwegwe and Nkatlango? Will Franco go for revenge on Makisela? Detective Lisa goes after her mountebank, deadly colleagues. Will she triumph?
