We have received a beautiful pattern and a foreshadowing of what it looks like to be in a marriage covenant, we saw this in the life of Christ, how he died and gave up himself sacrificially for a bride that was yet to say Yes. As we conclude, marriage is so much more once again than boy meets girl, boy loves girl. It is more like Christ sees Bride, Christ Loves Bride, Groom dies so that Bride lives. I believe God instituted this idea of marriage to try and give us a glimpse into his original plan for Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. That both Husband and Wife can recreate their little garden of heaven in the sanctity of marriage and get to experience this same statement, of two people naked and unashamed.
