Pepper Karalis - technowitch, mother, and coffee shop manager - has more than enough on her plate already. But when a college student in a state of enchanted drunkenness staggers into the coffee shop, Pepper can't turn her away without trying to help. Even though that means coming face-to-face with the powerful maenads who have taken over a dorm at Pepper's alma mater.

Oh, and dealing with family and the increasingly large number of witches and other magical creatures in her life.
