Seventeen-year-old Rebecca Rutherford just wants to graduate and get out of her isolated small town of Ridgewood for good. She thinks a camping trip to Lachlan Lake will give her a break from her alcoholic mother and stress-inducing homework. Rebecca works with Juliet to come to terms with what really happened to them, which leads them to realize that the creature in the woods might not be human and, even worse, it might still be on the loose.

As the full moon draws closer and the changes get worse, Rebecca must find the creature responsible for biting her and a cure for her condition before it's too late and she loses her humanity forever.
