Carmen is the last single girl amongst her best friends. It's shocking, really, to be the only single one left. They always joke that she's the one in the group who is always looking for "the One" while they weren't. But here she is, ready to give up on men. Of course, she's also hiding some secrets from her best friends. Including where she lives. And when the apartment complex she lives in goes up in smoke, literally, she doesn't want to admit to her friends what's happened. So where is she to go?

Tyler is known for being a playboy. But is that because he doesn't want to settle down or because he believes he's not good enough? When he finds out Carmen doesn't have a place to live, he doesn't hesitate to let her stay at his house.
