And Also With You is a book meant to educate and entertain those who have a curiosity about the Holy Bible. All of the most crucial events that take place in the Bible are covered. However, I look at these events through a prism of common sense and call the authors of the scriptures on items that strike me as being improbable, inconsistent, or just peculiar. Some find the Christian Bible to be intimidating, as many versions exceed 1,000 pages in length. Most cover over 1,800 years of sacred text. We begin with the Old Testament and Genesis, looking down upon the exploits of Adam and Eve. We progress through the centuries to Revelation and our expected day of reckoning. Two goals I focused on in writing this book was making it a manageable read for those of you who shy away from books whose covers are too far apart. The story is comprised of a myriad of characters. Thus, my other focus was to keep the multiple characters straight and their relationships easily understood. I think I've managed to do that. While it apparently took God seven days to construct all of creation, it took me seven months to research, assemble, revise, and edit this book. There will be times when it seems I am disparaging the writing of the disciples who contribute to the Bible. This is not so. I am simply being honest in my commentary, and questioning what I feel is debatable. My job is not to get you to believe that everything written in the Bible took place. That is for you to decide. Also, there are times when I simply just can't refrain from being sarcastic about some elements of the scriptures to elicit a laugh. The Lord would want you to expand your education of the Bible, and not mind if you had a chuckle along the way. I am a Christian and believe in God and Jesus. With the success I've had in scribing this book, I am presuming that they also believe in me. Enjoy your reading and God Bless.
