A Survivor's Lens: A Metastatic Breast Cancer Survivor's Focus on Faith and God's Word

My mom would always tell me "God is in control." I never understood that until my diagnosis of Stage IV/Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) 12 years ago. I was terrified after learning that the average life expectancy of an MBC patient is only 3-5 years. I wanted to rush the process, rush God, and rush my healing. MBC is treatable but not curable. God placed it on my heart to share my story, but first I needed to be in an emotionally healthy place.

A Survivor's Lens will walk you through my upbringing of coming from a loving family, my military service of 25 years, and my MBC journey. You will learn that all is not lost when diagnosed with any type of breast cancer. You can continue to live, thrive, and trust in God's agape love. After my story, there is a 30-day faith journal to help you flush out your thoughts and emotions as you move through your own cancer experience. You will be able to lock back and see how far God has brought you. God will never leave or forsake you.
