Esther: That Bad Chick

Amid Babylon is unknown and unsuspecting heroin from the Hebrew nation. She is by twisted fate, forced into her purpose. God is never mentioned in the story, only implied, but His divine direction is all over it. She and her people have been forced into captivity by the Babylonian King. She has been orphaned in the midst of the exile and is being raised by her Cousin Mordecai. This amazing girl was named Hadasah. Her name would later become Queen Esther. Esther is also a teacher of many life lessons. She gives lessons in courage, humility, and self-care, She gave one of the first lessons on making friends and winning influence. The greatest lesson that Esther teaches is believing in the God who made you and the you that God has made. After lessons from this Bad Chick, the Book of Esther will never again be just another story in the Bible.
