The Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) project plans to enhance the organization's functional capabilities long-term, which is significant for the management team to spend time discussing and finding the right technology to help the business realize its objectives is a topic for consideration. Some ideas are presented from researching enterprise resource planning systems, examining the general areas of focus, time, passing information along, and things that could improve installation success-spotlighting the concerns surrounding the topics of risk to the project completion.
This study will examine issues for mitigation as foundational to the system installation, including planning and strategy. Also, what others have written and researched about finding pathways to success with the organizational ERP system integration. Management must plan for all the issues mentioned, as they directly impact the successful ERP implementation and the cost of owning and operating the system.
