Halfblood

We were told they are monsters. Murderers. Cruel and vicious creatures that cannot be tamed or reasoned with. But they are also a part of us. I have a duty to my people, to protect, to ensure a safe future. To do that, I need one of them. I need him. He's not a monster though. Not now, captured and unable to defend himself. I'm not afraid of him, I might even like him, and that doesn't make sense. He looks like everything they said he would be, he even has the fangs we were taught to fear. Those things don't make me cautious like they should, I want to know more. The more I know, the more questions I have. I'm questioning if this monster is more like me than I could've imagined. Maybe he was even made for me.
