The perspective is mine, the patient's, which is different from my family's, my friends' and my doctors'. As such, it conveys a message that only a patient can offer.The message asks, "Why is this happening?" and "What's important?"Originally, I journaled for myself, venting my frustration and searching for direction, consolation and hope. My journal was my therapist. Later, I transformed that journal into a manuscript and shared it with special persons. Then, seeing potential value for a wider audience, I created this book so that you -- whether a patient or caregiver -- can learn, as I did from my family and friends, "I am not alone!"
