Precious Moments With God: Volume One

It began with a big canvas tent in the middle of a field. From that revival, a church was constructed in a small Northwest Georgia town. Inside the tent were rows and rows of metal chairs on a grass floor. An upright piano was positioned to one side of the homemade platform, and a pulpit stood in the middle. Many souls were saved as the wind slipped in and out of the fabric walls carrying the sound of singing and the preaching of the Word. The doors of the church were opened for membership, and 31 people came forward to become the charter members of Boone Ford Missionary Baptist Church.
During a later Sunday evening service on January 19, 1975, the doors of the church were again opened for membership. A dozen folks came forward to join the church by letter, by statement, or as candidates for baptism. Among those were Allen and Frances Ray. The Spirit moved among this congregation. Many members discovered they had been blessed with different gifts. Allen Ray accepted his gift as writing down what was happening and how he felt during this time. Several others shared this same gift. This volume and the ones that follow are a window into a time of great passion for the Lord and great love for each other. The floodgates of heaven had been opened and the blessings were poured out.
