Shut Up and Hear God: A True Story of A Quiet Miracle

This is a diary of my life for an entire month. Throughout this month, I would face one of the biggest trials of my life. My husband because of what he saw as a need, decided to leave me. He planned to move out without even telling me until time to leave. Although I am a spiritual woman, I questioned God of how this could happen. I knew that I had been doing things better spiritually like prayer, fasting and studying. Just when it seemed like my entertainment career which is utilized for the uplifting of my people was taking off with my husband on my team, he drops this bomb on me. I didn't see it coming since I knew that he was also a very spiritual person. Well this trial was just what I needed. Allah(God) heard my cry and gave me the answers I needed to grow into a better me. I could now be a better wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. There was so much noise in my mind that I could never be a good wife. I didn't think my husband was cheating but my thoughts made me feel that I was never good enough. Anyway, by shutting off the noise of the world and my mind, I was able to hear God. This story will go into my past so that I can show why I grew to be the person I was and how facing this helped my overall growth.
