Committed to Care: A Devotional for Caregivers

Caregiving is a monumental assignment filled with tedious and sometimes arduous tasks. It is difficult to describe what caregivers endure. Being responsible for someone else well-being is taunting. Emotions often run high and can range from love, kindness, and compassion to anger, resentment, and bitterness. The isolation can be nerve-racking. Struggling to provide for a loved one's needs while navigating systems of service often leaves a caregiver frustrated, aggravated, and exasperated. Since caregivers often only have moments to spare, the goal is to keep the passages brief while offering encouragement.
