all other virtues and the key to a meaningful relationship with God.

INTRODUCTION

In this work, we explore the significance of humility and holiness in the Christian faith. We begin by highlighting the three compelling reasons that prompt us to embrace humility: our status as a created being, our sinful nature, and our spiritual devotion. We then examine the traditional approach to religious instruction, which has placed excessive emphasis on the second aspect, leading some to adopt the extreme belief that continued sinning is necessary for humility. We argue that this narrow focus has resulted in a loss for the Christian community, as believers have not been adequately guided to comprehend the natural, beautiful, and blessed state of being nothing in relation to God, allowing Him to be everything.

We further contend that humility is not regarded as the primary virtue in preaching and daily interactions, in social and familial settings, in fellowship with fellow believers, or in the pursuit of Christ's work. We assert that humility is, in fact, the foundation upon which all other graces are built and the essential prerequisite for genuine communion with Jesus. We explore the significance of humility in the context of the universe's creation by God, with the sole purpose of allowing His creation to partake in His perfection and blessedness, thereby showcasing the glory of His love, wisdom, and power.

We conclude by emphasizing that humility, which entails complete reliance on God, is inherently the foremost obligation and most elevated virtue of all creatures, serving as the key to a meaningful relationship with God. We hope that this work will inspire readers to embrace humility and holiness as essential components of their Christian faith.
