How did I go from being Alaina's best friend, to boyfriend, to an ex, to a one-night stand, and now a stalker? I need to stop, I can stop whenever I want. I remind myself as I stand in her room looking over her sleeping, in her room. I always do this. I come when I know Christian Riley isn't home and I watch the love of my life sleep. I watch her from afar, that's the only way I can be with her anymore. Christian has made it clear he wants nothing to do with me anymore, that includes coming near Alaina and Demi. Until I rescue Alaina and Demi from a car accident and helped deliver one of the twins. Now I'm the hero, even though I was there because I was doing something very evil and sick. I've been stalking her for the past year and a half. I even got an apartment in Douglas so I can be closer to her. But no one knows that.

That same apartment is where I met Alivia Lawrence. My neighbor. She's shy and standoffish. I hadn't heard much from her until the night Christian came home early and ruined my night with Alaina. Meeting Alivia in the bar and taking her home wasn't planned..falling head over heels for her wasn't even thought of. But the way she looks at me is making me forget what a monster I am and all the evil things I've done to my best friend.

I've been running away from my Mafia husband Felix for the past year after his brother War and father Rafel died in a war between them, the Cobras and the Devils last winter. Felix had to take over and what he became was pure evil.
It didn't start off with him hurting me intentionally, he shove me once in a while, but it escalated into him beating me until I passed out. I knew at that moment that he wasn't the man I fell in love with anymore and I had to escape. I was forced with a choice to either live with the abuse or help him get the one he wanted. Moving to Douglas was all planned iout, it's a small town, close to the Riley's and I can do my job,
Everything was going smoothly until the next-door neighbor became something to me that he wasn't supposed to. Sean Stevens was supposed to be an in for me, to get to Alaina and get Felix to her. To get Felix away from me. But The way he makes me feel is so far from what Felix has ever made me feel. Sean makes me feel safe. His smile makes me jump with excitement.

A lot of things have been said about Sean Stevens, he doesn't know the true reason behind me living next door to him, but if he finds out my intentions weren't true at the start, it wouldn't matter.... He's too nice of a guy.
