Living in the city can be the most beautiful or brutal experience one may ever experience. For my first ever self published novel, Portland, I dove into my friends, family, and all I have seen in the past 3 years of writing. A collection of songs, poems, and memories that reflect the honesty, pain, and love we all have as human beings.
