You know how they say that the eyes are the window to the soul? It turns out that they are also a bit of a window to the brain. The spark that set off an explosive reaction of exposing the truth wound up being a routine optometrist appointment.

What happens to those who are discarded and misdiagnosed by doctors after being told that their health problems are "all in your head"? It turns out that they were onto something when they told me this...it only took three years to figure it out.
