The loss of a parent, spouse or child is something no one wants to experience. Yet Kristyn Kellerman knew them all. Tired of running and wanting to make a real life for herself and her daughter, she returns to Monaloha, her friend's estate in Hawaii. Here she finds herself falling in love with James. Drawn together they desperately want to be with each other, but Kristyn has haunting doubts that result in an unwanted distance between them.
