Classic Guitar Ensembles

Classic Guitar Ensembles is a collection of 4 pieces arranged for varying levels of difficulty. The book includes the individual student parts and the conductor's scores. The pieces are listed in the order of difficulty beginning with:

• The Traveler - An easy original piece in 3 parts with a Renaissance style in that it is modal in harmony.
• The Alphabet Song - The classic melody by W. A. Mozart is arranged easily enough to be performed on a first concert, but interesting enough to challenge students.
• Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee - From Beethoven's 9th Symphony, this arrangement is probably good for an end of year concert with beginners. It has 2 key changes, and a 3/4 section.
• Air on the G String - By J. S. Bach, this arrangement is very simple in that there is nothing fancy about it, but it is quite difficult due to the inerrant polyphony that is expected with Bach's music.
