Little Feather Greets the Day

The young boy, Little Feather, starts each day by honoring Creator. He greets each direction: East, South, West, North, plus Father Sky, Mother Earth, and within. West ends the day with sunset and reminds us of autumn and adulthood. North calls to mind the silence of midnight, winter, and our elders. It is good to acknowledge that our light touches all and to choose a healthy attitude to radiate. In this practice, we honor all our relatives, which includes everyone everywhere.
