Autumn Alight: Poetry of the Upper Midwest

Like the seasons, the people here are proud, hardened souls with few words, dry humor, and direct communication. This collection of end rhyme and haiku poetry was created from that upbringing and the many seasons weathered. This collection was created for those living and thriving in the forty north latitudes.

For those not of the region; I fear the limitations of the printed word may not be enough to paint the picture I so desire.

To fully understand what life is here, one cannot read it alone; one must live it, one must feel the sleet and wind on one's face and one must endure until the seasons change.
