Tales from the Dead Zone Book 1 The Secret, is a thriller novel set in a Science Fiction universe, with a humorous take on life. This will be the first book in the series, Tales from the Dead Zone.

Tales from the Dead Zone, are set in the furthest reaches of a united galaxy, in an odd setting known as the Dead Zone. An asteroid field, possibly manufactured by a long-forgotten race. The field has the most unique geology, made up unique extremely expensive metals and stones, set in an asteroid field where the asteroids never collide. Set in the rarest of settings, The Secret follows the story of Break, a man living at odds with what is expected of him, attempting to separate himself from his father s superstar reputation. He uses his skills and reputation to carve out a life, just at the edge of right and wrong. By contrast, myth says his father single handedly stopped a galactic war.

Suddenly, he finds himself drawn into a race to save the galaxy and his father s legacy. Lurching from clue to clue. He finds that those closest to him, have been protecting secrets. Gradually, he will begin to learn the truth about his missing mother, the events behind his father s fame, the fragile trail of lies that holds the Galactic Council together and a deadly enemy, ready to re-take the galaxy and a mythical weapon.He will be assisted by a strange group of friends, drawn from different species. They will encounter many dangers, in their efforts to find this weapon.The repercussions resulting from their endeavors, will change the nature of the Galactic Council and the life in the Dead Zone, permanently.
