Mioko's life was always one of hard-knocks. She never expected easy. She has fought her entire life, and while she inherited her father's legacy, a magical world, portal powers, and the magic associated with them all, her fight didn't stop; it just got more complicated.

An unexpected adversary claims she gained more than she realizes and now seeks a part of it. By gaining access to Mioko's portal powers, this foe is pillaging worlds in search of her father's sword-Solbrand. The chase sees zombies, werewolves and a monster join in on the pursuit.

After Mioko finally evacuates everyone she thought to be in danger, the greater threat is one aiming at her magical world-Innangard. The outside use of her portal magic is producing unexpected consequences. If she doesn't recover this missing part of her power, she stands to lose everything.

Equipped with a katana, a pair of pistols, and a bad attitude, she's aiming to put everything in its rightful place-her enemy's being below ground.
