White Girl, Black Girl depicts the lives of two young women. They struggle to get past their history of pain, abuse, misfortune, and the complexities of love and forgiveness.
Chasidy is considered the "White Girl" because she tries so hard to be perfect. She puts on her daily fa?ade while bleeding inwardly from the pain and hurt of her past and present disappointments. She meets a stranger named Sebastian, who tries to teach her how to love and forgive.
Monica on the contrary is considered the "Black Girl," who is openly shameless about her life. She is free-spirited yet bound by the decisions of her past. During her time of transition, she comes to the realization that she needs to gain control before she ruins her life.
Although different, the two young women have much in common. They need to find a way to come to terms with painful truths to rebuild and cultivate their lives.
