What does a fighter do when there isn't room for him in the game anymore?

Kyle King Junior is screwed out of the main event once again due to the fact he's a lightweight. The son of a legendary MMA fighter, living in the shadow of heavyweight titans doesn't sit right by him. He knows he's the best and he deserves the title. In his late thirties, Kyle is in a race against time to truly leave a legacy before his retirement from the cage.

After resigning from the GFC in a fit of rage, King creates his own Mixed Martial Arts company for lightweights only, recruiting a motley crew of epic all-stars and rookies with potential - a recipe for personality disputes and power struggles. King tiptoes the fine line between letting his rookie fighters find their own paths and trying to create a legacy of his own.

Meanwhile, the young stars of the new company explode on the scene, fighting to break out, connect with the crowd, and feed their own desire to win. From the exacting technical fighters of Japan to the fresh-out-of-college rookies who refuse tap out, to the ruthless champions who have fought and won many battles, King's company is a roiling pot of excitement and restrained energy.

Contending with the wild, brutal, crazy world around them the young fighters must find a way to stay sane if they want to survive. And King needs to make some of the toughest decisions of his life.
