Midday's Sun

After learning the horrible truth of his origin, Sol has been striving to do as much good as possible in a world filled with so much pain. But his tribulations are a lot like Sisyphus, forever cursed to push the stone up a hill with no reprieve in sight. Where a weaker man would crumble, Sol must endure if our world is to survive what's coming.

Fast-forward to our hero rebelling against an authoritative government hellbent on keeping the dog on its leash. All while the most dangerous weapon is kept in a cage, watching... waiting.

A zealous new foe arrives, matching Sol in strength and power, and under the full command of the US government whose own offensive technologies have improved by leaps and bounds.
