Abby Thomas has made the difficult decision to leave Ohio and the life she has known behind to start anew in Wyoming. She's heard of the wild beauty of the area and is drawn to the majestic landscape, wanting to build a horse sanctuary where she can care for and nurture her beloved creatures.
She's just moved into her cabin and settled into her work when a local rancher stops by. He is handsome and confident, and Abby is soon swept up in his charm. But beneath his facade is a controlling and dangerous streak that quickly reveals itself. Abby soon realizes she has to break free from his grasp, even as he tries to manipulate her.
Just as she is struggling to get back on her feet, she meets a gentle man who shares her love of horses and nature. Soon, they are deeply in love. However, it isn't long before they face sabotage and Abby's life is threatened.
Abby is determined to save her beloved horses and the sanctuary despite the danger she faces. She has put too much work into it and her newfound love is worth fighting for.
