Wisdom for Evangelism: Overcoming Challenges to Soul Winning, Becoming Fruitful in Evangelism

The Great Commission was never intended for the eyewitnesses of Jesus, the Early Disciples. It is designed for all of Jesus's followers in all ages until the Lord returns. The Great Commission was not given to the Early Apostles of Jesus. It is meant for all Christians in all regions of the world. Jesus said it over and over in the Gospels;
"You are my witness." "You shall be witness unto me..." "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." "Go and make disciples in all nations." "As my Father has sent me, so send I you." "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." I have always rattle these questions in my mind: would God give us an assignment or duty he knows quite well we cannot do? Why would Jesus be so serious and emphatic about teaching all nations, preaching the Good News, makings disciples, witnessing for him, evangelizing the lost, building his church? Is the task of soul winning so easy as the Lord portrays it to be? Is there any other way other than evangelization, witnessing, preaching, teaching the Word of God, sharing the Gospel, etc. that God can use to bring people to himself and save them? The answer is probably yes. But those other ways are complementary to what Jesus commands his followers to do: witness, win souls, evangelize, preach the truth, teaching all nations, make disciples, etc. In fact, Jesus used some kind of hard words when he said, "'Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." (Luke 14:23-NKJV). To do this great task, we need great wisdom and fervent prayer. This book helps us to see what we are missing in our approach to soul winning and Evangelism.
