Twenty-one-year-old Ray was overjoyed when his sister asked him to look after her huge farm and its inhabitants during the scorching summer heat. He needed to get out of town that summer, as far away from his abusive ex as possible, and where better to do so than among the chickens and cornfields in the countryside.
In addition to tending the grounds, he liked to go on long walks with Tex, the cheerful German Shepherd, along the deserted road.
Until suddenly a very attractive man walks up to him who bursts Ray's peaceful bubble wide open.
