Escape From Doomsday: A Science Fiction Love Story

Escape Form Doomsday starts out with a unique science fiction adaptation of Noah and the Great Flood - a coming apocalypse on Earth and other planets in an alternate universe. The setting is a highly advanced civilization existing thousands of years in the past that uses occult metaphysics to create almost unlimited power and scientific progress.

An inventor, Daniel, a member of the aristocracy by virtue of his being the great-nephew of a Grand Patriarch (the Noah of this universe) and a high-ranking police officer, becomes involved in thwarting a complex plot to destroy his family's standing in the empire. Although Daniel is at first a hands-off, non-religious person, his wife Josette is a New Age/nature-worshiping disciple who is antagonistic against The Father's religion. Josette later becomes possessed by a powerful being that will morph into a parallel of the Antichrist. The spirit she possesses enables her great power, which will at first benefit the couple but ultimately endeavors to dominate the world unless Daniel can find a way to stop it. The love story of Daniel and Josette is one of compelling commitment - a driving force behind Daniel's ingenuity which allows them to escape doomsday twice - and then to face it a final time.
