Dr. B.J. grew up in Galveston, Texas where she started her first teaching job at the age of thirteen.  She opened her school by bribing neighborhood kids to come and learn and get a treat for learning. 

Dr. Anderson is a retired educator who taught school at all grade levels, but she has a special affection working with students ages twelve thru twenty-seven because this group has a great desire to learn More. She uses images and discussions to show and tell that God is not only our creator but He also loves and cares for you.

Dr. Anderson has served as Pastor; Christian Education Director at the Local, District, Conference, and Episcopal levels. She is a graduate of Huston-Tillotson University; North Texas State University East Texas State University; Dallas Theological Seminary. 

Mama Bet - as she is called by her grand-children and all of their friends, is still teaching family, church, friends and neighborhood about the love of God and His desire for our life.
