The Cousins Project: Finding Lost Family After the Holocaust

After many decades, a determined search by descendants of the Singer, Wites, and Torgovnick families restored their connection to each other as cousins and children of Holocaust victims. After World War II many family members found themselves in Lodz, Poland, but as they migrated out of Poland to the United States, they lost track of each other. The Cousins Project details the history and the quest for family restoration. So it was that seventy-five years after the Holocaust, Sandi Solomon discovered a branch of her family tree she thought had perished in the Holocaust. This book, compiled with the help of Pamela Ruben, contains the collected thoughts and actions of the ancestors who perished and the newly discovered cousins who give this book a positive ending and new beginning.
