The story is based around a simple Irish man named Michael, who lives in Ireland. He has a Sunday run routine every weekend. He meets a Women named Sarah on one of his runs, as well as a man named Jacob. Together they run a marathon of a special kind, a marathon set by a multi-millionaire named Franco Paolina. The multi-millionaire spreads news of a challenge he has set. The challenge is based upon whomever runs one thousand miles within one week which will be tracked via a provided smart watch, wins one million euros. Along the way they find themselves mixed up in some peculiar and dangerous circumstances.

With comedy, romance, suspense and more, there is plenty to enjoy in this read.
