Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Exam Unofficial Practice Review Questions

As a partnership between the federal government and provinces and territories responsible for apprenticeship training and trade certification in their jurisdictions, the Red Seal Program sets common standards to assess the skills of tradespeople across Canada. Those tradespersons who have successfully passed the Red Seal examination will receive a Red Seal endorsement on their provincial/territorial trade certificate. Automotive service technicians perform preventative maintenance, diagnose problems and repair the vehicle systems of cars and light trucks. This includes engine, vehicle management, hybrid, steering, braking, drive train, suspension, electrical, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. They also work on restraints, trim and accessories.
